those not towing a caravan and wanting the adventure way, the Old Telegraph has the four wheel drive challenge at what is known as
Gunshot (at left). This not the only way across Gunshot Creek, with a bypass crossing.
The goal is to reach
the northernmost part of the Australian mainland, as seen at right.
