The Banksia Farm in Mount Barker is the only a complete collection of every Banksia species

In addition to Banksias, Kevin and Kathy have a growing in their garden many species of Dryandra and a number of other wildflowers and shrubs including Hakea, Conostylis and Beautfortia.  

 

Luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is in a purpose build stone cottage on the property.  In addition to a talk and a guided tour of the gardens by Kevin for guests and tour groups, bed and breakfast guests may join off property Orchid hunting tag-along tours which are conducted during spring.   There is a café where we enjoyed for coffee and cakes.
