Adenanthos barbiger, Hairy Jugflower
This is a tiny plant for Adenanthos, a medium shrub from the Proteaceae family, which includes
Grevillea. Single red flowers interspersed with elongated leaves.

Australia and it occurs through the Augusta-Margaret River, Busselton and Nannup areas. Also in areas around Perth.

Adenanthos obovatus, basket flower
A medium somewhat sprawling shrub with orange Grevillea like flowers between the rounded leaves
along the stems
April to December
Bridgetown, South West, Western Australia and widespread in the South West, Great Southern and
Perth regions and into the Western Wheatbelt.
Acaena echinata, Sheep's Burr
A flat plant with fern like leaves, and a stalk of tiny flowers in spring which develops tiny
prickly burrs. You may find these burrs in your socks and on shoelaces after bushwalking.
September October
Bridgetown, South
West Region, Western Australia and occurs through the South West and Perth regions, into the Wheatbelt to the north and
east of Perth, parts of the Great Southern region, and around the coast to Esperance.
Actinobole uliginosum, Flannel Cudweed.
A tiny low growing plant with leaves that cup the pale yellow flowers which are surrounded
by silky fluffy threads which also coat the foliage.
August
Seen in flat seasonal damp areas from Yalgoo through to Morawa, Western
Australia. Grows through the Mid West, Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions and into the Goldfields.
