Two amenities blocks, each with 3 showers, 3 basins and three toilets (in ladies anyway). This may be inadequate if park was full.
Amenities blocks appear quite old but were kept clean. Good water pressure and adequate hot water. No hand wash or hand towels in
bathrooms. Close to some sites only. Laundry. Camp kitchen. Recreation 'barn'. Fire hoses on reels between alternate camp sites. Power
and water outlets between alternate sites; need a reasonably long power cord.
Cabins and Units available. Small jetty with pergola and boat ramp on Inlet. Large 'barn' available for group activities, with tables, chairs and barbecues. Boat ramp and fish cleaning table, jetty for fishing, boat and kayak hire. Walk trail through forest or short drive to Sandy Beach; water very shallow for some distance. Walk trail to an old timber Saw Pit.
$22 for two, powered (no unpowered option offered). Update February 2020 $38 (may be seasonal variations).
Pros: Lovely location on the edge of the inlet and away from the town. Fishing from the jetty (undergoing restoration). Park ideal for those with small boats. Dogs welcome (on application).
Cons: No disability access bathrooms, amenities blocks old and in need of TLC. There is a small step on the floor of the toilets in one of the blocks; this is a trip/fall hazard. No unpowered sites for caravans.
Date of
stay March and October 2010.

Website for current ownership: Rest Point Caravan Park
Although the amenities are fairly old, this park gets my recommendation mainly because of the wonderful location,
depsite the slighly lower score than most selected to feature here with the best parks.
Flat green grassy sites which
are a good size. Additional (not level) few sites near water’s edge under trees. Quiet location away from town. Top Holiday
Parks (formerly Top Tourist Parks) member.
Pros: Excellent and well maintained amenities, a neat and clean caravan park, quiet area. Good disability access shower
and toilet. All this at a bargain price. Pub dinners are recommended.
Cons: It is not signed as to where
to go to book in and pay. Shower head was too high for me, with a high pressure wide flow, so a shower cap was needed.
Price: $15 per powered and serviced site.

A very well appointed small caravan park in a quiet location on the edge of this small wheatbelt town, which is bypassed by the Wagin–Lake
Grace Road with a two kilometre drive to the town. This caravan park is provided and maintained by the Dumbleyung Shire Council.
The caravan park is accessed from Bath Street, and adjoins the Showground, and has bushland behind it. You need
to go to the hotel or general store to book in and pay, with cash preferred as they are collecting on behalf of the council.
The area is flat, and the limited number of powered sites are roomy drive through on a solid base, with water at each of these. There is a roomy area for tents and other campers without power and water.
A modern brick amenities block is excellent. Each of the ladies and gents has one shower, one toilet and a very good disability access bathroom. There is also a baby’s bath
with flexible shower head, and a change table. Shower and toilet have outward opening doors. The shower comes from the
side wall and the shower cubicle is lower than the dressing area which stays dry. Key code required to access bathrooms and
laundry.
There is a bench seat outside the cubicles, and two handbasins, mirrors and power points.
Laundry
has one washing machine ($3) with room for a second, and two troughs. There are two hoists outside.
Semi open
camp kitchen has an electric barbecue, and small sink, and seating.
Pets are accepted.
