These pages will
feature some of the wildflowers we have photographed in Western Australia, and where possible, identified. If you
are able to help identify further flowers, or correct any I may have wrong, please contact us.
Information given for each species
will give botanical name, known common names, describe the flower, give time of year it flowered, and where it was photographed, and
the areas it occurs in. Names have been matched to Florabase which has also been used to show distribution.

the Mid West, Wheatbelt, Perth, South West and Great Southern Regions and the south coast as far east as Esperance.
Calotis multicaulis, Many stemmed Burr-daisy, Woolly-headed Burr-daisy
This small white flowering native daisy with thirteen to
twenty or more petals, from a branching plant. Leaves have prominently serrated edges.
August
Seen west of Sandstone in
the Mid West region of Western Australia, and occurs through the Goldfields, northern Wheatbelt, Mid West, Gascoyne and Pilbara regions.
Calothamnus gilesii
A one sided red flowering bottlebrush, with long fine cylindrical leaves, terminating in a point.
Seed cones
only seen in August at the Boorabbin national park, which is between Southern Cross (Yilgarn Shire) and Coolgardie (Shire of Coolgardie),
Western Australia. Found in the inland Mid West, northern Wheatbelt, and Goldfields regions.
