Since our Kimberley tour, a more recently opened tourism venture run by the Gooniyandi people has been developed and can be reached via the Great Northern Highway approximately ninety kilometres south west of Fitzroy Crossing and a further 3.4 kilometres to the north along the unsealed Mount Pierre Station road.
Tours are conducted through part of the ancient Devonian Reef
which also forms Geike Gorge (Danggu), Tunnel Creek (Dimalurru) and Windjana Gorge (Bandilngan) by Aboriginal guides. Tour
information can be seen here. Bookings are required and can be made on line through the Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre at
$80 per person. Open seasonally (closed during wet season).
There is a modern fifteen site campground, with five of these campsites suitable for long vehicles. Camping prices can be seen here.
