Metrosideros excelsa, New Zealand Christmas tree, pohutukawa, New Zealand pohutukawa, New Zealand Christmas bush, and iron tree

 

 

 

 

Monoculus monstrosus, Stinking Roger, formerly Osteospermum calandestinum or Tripteris clandestina.  Botanical name translates One-eyed Monster. 

 

 

 

 

Monopsis debilis and Monopsis debilis var. depressa - a small purple flower with five petals which can be arranged with two and three.   Friends of Queens Park
