Ranunculus muricatus, rough-fruited buttercup, sharp buttercup, spinyfruit buttercup

Raphanus raphanistrum, Wild Radish (white), Wild radish, white weed, white charlock, wild charlock, cadlock, wild kale, wild turnip, jointed radish

Rhamus alaternus, Buckthorn, Italian Buckthorn.  This is a Declared weed in South Australia 

Silene gallica varieties, French Catchfly, Common Catchfly, English Catchfly, French Catchfly, French Silene, Gunpowder Weed, Mediterranean Catchfly, Small Catchfly, Small-Flower Catchfly, Small-Flowered Catchfly, Smallflowered Catchfly, Spotted Catchfly, Windmill Pink

 

 

Silene gallica var. quinquevulnera, with quinquevulnera meaning 'with five wounds' referring to the red splashed on the petals.  Usually pale pink petals with a red centre.

 

 

Silene gallica var. gallica, usually pink and white or shades of pink petals.

* Rubus fruticosus, Rubus anglocandicans, Rubus laudatus, Rubus rugosus, and Rubis ulmifolius, Blackberry.  All species are declared weeds. 

Rumex acetosella, Field Sorrel, Red Sorrel, Sangre de Toro, Sheep Sorrel, Sour Weed

* Rumex hypogaeus, (formerly Emex australis), Doublegee, Spiny Emex, Three Corner Jack, Devil's Thorn.  The name Doublegee is derived from Dubbeltge-doorn, the Afrikaan for Devil's Thorn.

Rumex crispus, Curled Dock.

Rumex obtusifolius, Broadleaf Dock, Bitter Dock, Broad-Leaved Dock, Bluntleaf Dock, Dock Leaf, Dockens, Butter Dock. 

Rumex vesicarius (previously Acetosa vesicaria and formerly Rumex vesicarius), Ruby Dock, Rosy Dock, Bladder Dock, Wild Hops, Pink Dock

Sparaxis bulbifera

Other Sparaxis species include S. grandiflora, S. pillansii (Harlequin flower), and hybrids of these.

Sparaxis tricolor, Harlequin flower, an orange sparaxis with a yellow and black centre.

Sparaxis tricolor hybrids can have many colours and patterns

Symphyotrichum squamatum, (Aster subulatus, Symphyotrichum subulatum, Aster squamatus, Symphyotrichum subulatum var. squamatum), known as Bushy Starwort, Annual Saltmarsh Aster, Aster, Aster Weed, Aster-Weed, Eastern Annual Saltmarsh Aster, Saltmarsh Aster, Sea Aster, Slender Aster, Slim Aster, Narrow-leaved Aster, Small Saltmarsh Aster, Wild Aster, Cobbler’s Pegs.
Symphyotrichum squamatum grows up to two metres tall, and has pink at the branch joints.  Tiny flowers five millimetres across.
